Peter Economos

I’m a long-time business owner, having established a successful mortgage broking business in 1998. While the business continues to thrive under the day-to-day management of my wife, I’ve taken the opportunity to pursue a new venture that aligns with my collecting passion.

As a collector with a deep appreciation for Australian history and memorabilia, I’ve been fortunate to acquire several major collections over the years, along with hundreds of items purchased through auctions and private sales. These acquisitions have enabled me to build a diverse and well-rounded personal collection across a range of themes — from petrol and oil advertising to milk bar and grocery store displays, enamel signs, vintage packaging, rare books and more.

This new chapter, launching Roadhouse Collectable Auctions, allows me to turn my passion into a business — helping other collectors buy and sell unique, collectable items that tell a story and preserve a piece of the past.
